Holland coach Bert van Marwijk will leave it late to decided if Arjen Robben will face Cameroon.
The Bayern Munich winger, who missed the first two group games after injuring his thigh prior to the World Cup, came through a full training session unscathed on Wednesday.
But with Holland already assured of a last-16 berth ahead of tonight’s game, van Marwijk insists he is no hurry to make a decision over Robben.
“With Arjen, I wanted to see him in training,” he said. “If everything looks well then he will be in for selection for the match.
“I will just wait until the last moment. Tomorrow I will decide whether or not he can be selected.”
But while van Marwijk contemplates Robben’s role, the player himself is keen to return to action against Cameroon.
“I want to play,” he said. “I have to have game-time in order to rediscover my feeling and rhythm of the matches.
“I had to suffer like a martyr to get fit in time for the finals.”
Robben is 12/5 (SkyBet) to score at anytime against Cameroon, with the inspirational winger 6/1 (Betfred) to be named man of the match.
