Holland World Cup squad - No place for Orlando Engelaar in World Cup squad

Holland coach Bert van Marwijk recently confirmed his 23-man squad for the World Cup in South Africa.

Orlando Engelaar, Vurnon Anita, Ron Vlaar and Jeremain Lens were the final men to be cut from van Marwijk’s provisional group.

Out of the quartet, Engelaar was the only player to have appeared for Holland at a major tournament, having started every game at the European Championships two years ago.
