The pair are locked together at the top of the scoring table on five goals, with Spain striker Villa 5/6 at Blue Square for Golden Boot glory and Holland midfielder Sneijder 9/4.

Germany pair Miroslav Klose and Thomas Muller go into Saturday’s third-place play-off just one off the pace on four and are 9/2 and 11/1 respectively here.

Uruguay forward Diego Forlan is also on four and a 16/1 chance, while teammate Luis Suarez has two to make up and is 66/1.

In the player of the tournament betting, Sneijder is 7/4 favourite with Blue Square after picking up the man of the match award in four of Holland’s six wins.

Villa is 15/8 for the Golden Ball, while teammate Xavi has been cut to 5/1 after being voted MVP in Spain’s semi-final success over Germany.

Andres Iniesta is next best at 9/1 here, with Arjen Robben 11/1 and Muller a 20/1 shot.
