England manager Fabio Capello is just 2/1 with StanJames to have left his post by midnight tonight.

The Italian is due to hold a press conference this afternoon, in which he will give an explanation for England’s World Cup exit and outline his plans for the future.

Capello’s position looks untenable and the search for a replacement may begin as early as tomorrow morning, with Harry Redknapp and Roy Hodgson the most likely replacements.

Redknapp is low as 7/4 with William Hill to be the next England manager, although SkyBet have the Tottenham Hotspur boss available at 7/2.

Hodgson can be backed at 7/2 with StanJames to take the England hot seat, while other names in contention are Martin O’Neill at 10/1 and Stuart Pearce (14/1, Paddy Power).
