Australia have been dealt a further blow ahead of Saturday’s must-win clash with Ghana.

Already without Tim Cahill through suspension, the Socceroos will be missing the services of experience midfielder Vince Grella after he sprained the medial ligament in his knee during training.

It is unclear if Grella will return in time for the final group game against Serbia on June 23, but for now Carl Valeri is expected to take the Blackburn player’s place.

The Socceroos are 10/3 with Paddy Power, StanJames and Ladbrokes to get back to winning ways against Ghana, who are 21/20 (Victor Chandler) to make it two wins from two. The draw is 5/2 (StanJames, Ladbrokes).

The game is being broadcast on BBC One and streamed live on bbc.co.uk (kick off 15.00 BST).
